The Gillespie Chair

The Gillespie Chair is a full embrace of my home, Fredericksburg, Texas. It represents the hills, the hard-working, fun-loving people, the deep history and beautiful wildlife, everything that I hold close to my heart.

Every element of the chair was thought through from making every piece of hardware by hand, to hand-stitching every inch of leather.

All of the materials were hand-picked, every board of white oak, the waxed cotton thread, even using hide from an axis that I harvested.

Every detail is meant to portray the beauty of Texas, but most importantly the warmth and comfort of my home.
